I have two more days left with students! I still don't think it's really sunk in yet.

Last weekend was super busy, but so much fun. Friday I went to OKC for the Reaching Souls banquet. My brother is working for Reaching Souls right now. It's an incredible organization. You should check them out if you haven't heard about it yet. www.reachingsoulsinternational.org/ Robin was my date for the banquet and it was really great to spend some time with her. I'm so glad she got to come with me. I wish we could hang out more. Saturday morning I got to meet some friends for breakfast. It was so good to get to see their faces and catch up on life. Saturday afternoon I drove back to Miami and met Chad after he got off work. We then drove to Tahlequah for Rachel (Chad's sister) and Colton's wedding shower. They had a rock band themed shower and it was so much fun. I'm so excited for them. They are getting married in a little over three weeks! Yea! I can't wait! I love being married and I love it when I get to see two great people get married! They are going to have a great life together.

Sorry I don't have any pictures...I really need to do a better job of taking pictures. I took a few at the shower, but I can't access them right now. I'll have to add them later.

Hooded towels

I just added a hooded towel to my online store. I found some really cute towels to use and I was so excited to get them. I've been looking for cute towels, and I hadn't had much luck until last weekend. I'm also really excited about the next item I'm adding. I decided to make a swaddle wrap thing instead of a hooded blanket. I like them much better. I kinda have a busy week since this is the last week of school and softball is also starting this week. I hope to have it up by the end of the week anyway though. I also got some sew-in labels in the mail today. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. There were lots of designs that looked cuter than the one I ordered, but I wanted to get one that I could use on all the products. The one I ordered is black and white, but still cute I think.

Working on my Websites

I think setting up my other blog page is taking longer than it takes to make the actual products! I have a couple of things up. I will be adding some more soon. I don't really like the layout of the blog, hopefully I can figure out how to make it look a little better. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I feel like it all just runs together. I'd like it to be more organized and easier to read. I'm opening up an online store as soon as I finish a few more products and have pictures. If it's easier to use and more organized, I may just delete the other blog...I don't know. In any case, I'm having a lot of fun sewing. I should have been doing this all winter! If you want to see a few pictures, I added the blog (Plaid Peach) over on the side with the other blogs I read.

Breakfast in OKC

Plaid Peach is on it's way!

My online store will hopefully be up and running in a couple of weeks. The name will be Plaid Peach. I've registered the name on the websites that I'm using. As soon as I get the pages up, I'll post the link. I am so excited! I think this is going to be so much fun! I bought some supplies last night and I'm ready to get started this weekend!

On another note, it's pouring outside. It rained all night last night and I don't think it's stopped today. There was a river between our door and my car this morning. I didn't want to have soggy socks and shoes all day, so I wore my snow boots. Ha! Yeah, it's May and I'm wearing snow boots. Nice, huh?
