Christmas!

I had a wonderful Christmas break! I hate to see it coming to an end. Chad and I were able to see both of our families and celebrate Christmas with all of them. We celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve with my family in Okc and then went to Tahlequah to celebrate Christmas with Chad's family on Christmas day. I'm so thankful that our families live close enough for us to be able to spend time with everyone! Everyone has been so generous with us....it kinda blows me away! It really inspires me to give more and more. Thank you to everyone! Chad and I had an incredible 1st Christmas together! For some reason I didn't take very many pictures, but here are a couple...

I hope this becomes a new tradition...this year Hunter read the Christmas story from his Bible and Hattie wrote a poem for us: The best thing about Christmas. I loved it!
Brent helping Hunter and Hattie with their new games....
I got to spend time with lots of my friends over Christmas break! This was so fun! Here's a picture with Stacy, Daisy, Leslie, Me, and Mindy. We all met at Cracker Barrel in Joplin the day after Christmas. It was so great to get to hang out with them. I don't get to see them very often, so this was a big treat for me. I don't have a picture, but I also got to have lunch with Dara, Robin, and Danielle this week. I miss you all...
Notice anything new in this picture???? We now have heat!!! A few weeks ago it was freezing cold outside and that made it really cold inside. Our window units weren't working that great and we were having to walk around the house with stocking caps and boots....and we were using hand and feet warmers...and our pipes were frozen...it was that cold! Anyway, Chad's boss said hey we need to get you guys some more heat over there. Before I new it, a couple of guys were over here installing a heater. This thing works so great! I mean it gets hot so fast!

Sorry I don't have any family pics...I don't know why I didn't take any. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I don't have the words to describe how blessed we are! God has been so good to us...you guys are a big part of that.

Another Good Book

I picked this book up at Mardel's last Monday night and started reading it on Wednesday...it's Friday and I've already finished it...all 300 pages! This was made into a movie and should be out soon. It's by the same people that did the movie Facing the Giants. It was a little cheesy in parts, but overall pretty good. If you have any more recommendations on what I should read next, let me know. My break is almost over, so I'm sure my reading will slow down a bit, but I'd like to keep reading. I've really started to enjoy it. Anyway, I'm going to need a good book for the plane ride to Vegas!!! I'm so ready to go and shop!!!
